i guess the life situations we are given is God holding us, in perfect position, to "draw in milk".....maybe if we can remove our judgment of those situations and see the gift (the present), we can taste these lessons as our milk....given to nurture us, help us grow back to what we started as, no will....content.....

to experience each moment as if looking through the eyes of a child truly allows the mind to trust and accept the guidance that is always here. with no inhibitions, no layers of thoughts, no worries your heart can lead the way.

the worst that can happen is believing an untrue thought...it can grow very quickly and multiply into many untrue thoughts...these thoughts can create a senseless, unproductive scenario.... it seems now we have a choice here, either feed the thought with more thoughts or check it out and see if it's even true... knowing the truth ends the untrue scenario you created in your head and puts you back on the true path of the heart... it's so easy to ask yourself "is it true" and dissolve that first thought before it has a chance to grow.....then you can truly say "the worst that can happen is over" and you can focus on your true passion.... you are spared of creating that untrue scenario altogether, it's over

PS: I found what I think is a clearer way of saying it:

The psychological view is that we are 'products of our environment.' We can find a lot of proof of this, i.e. your mother's influence, etc. This view is based on the perception that we are separate egos.

The paradigm shift occurs when we look at how 'the environment is our projection.' (or: the environment is our 'product', our creation) Where is the proof for this?

I can find different level of evidence, starting with the insight that we see the world through the lens of our beliefs and thoughts, all the way to the direct perception of our projection of the world.

This view is based on the perception that what we are is the infinite Self. (Here lies a bit of a rub because when we say "I project my world" we are tempted by habit to believe it's the small ego that projects it. That is of course not so.)

I, the infinite Self, create my world, and in it my path, in a perfect fashion to bring to me the experiences I need to realize my true identity. And that may include experiences and challenges my ego would not want to create.

Is that a better way of speaking of this conundrum? What do you think?

Dear Ram Giri,

thank you very much for sharing your inner truth and your deep experience with me. While reading your post, I could feel both the deep fear and the deep love in me. Without my story (i.e. a mentor should not have fears anymore) I can truely love you as my friend, brother, mentor, father and son and that´s opening myself more so that I dare watching and sharing what I find inside of me. That makes life so much more exciting.
I´m very grateful to you for encouraging me to continue and deepen my process no matter what kind of fears might appear.
Freedom is my only goal.

This is great! It helps me understand the Turn-around, answering the questions "what other opinions are possible?" and "what would be an opposite perspective?" Seeing them and considering them helps me detach from my own thoughts. Thanks!
